Welcome to the Mortgage Bankers Association of the Carolinas!

 

Now is the time!

Friends and Colleagues,

It is an honor and a privilege this year to represent you all as your President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of the Carolinas.
I want to thank you for your trust and your support, and for your dedication and commitment to our industry.

 

We are living in extraordinary times. The past year has created unprecedented challenges and opportunities, as we faced a global pandemic, an economic crisis, and a historic election. Through it all, you have shown resilience, adaptability, and innovation. You have helped thousands of Carolinians achieve their dreams of homeownership, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. You have also contributed to the recovery and growth of our communities, by providing liquidity, stability, and affordability to the housing market.

 

You have done all this while staying engaged and involved with our association. You have participated in our events, our advocacy efforts, our education programs, and our networking opportunities. You have shared your insights, your feedback, and your best practices. You have made our association stronger, more diverse, and more influential.

 

We face new challenges and opportunities ahead, as we navigate the changing landscape of regulation, technology, consumer preferences, and competition. We need to be prepared for the future, and that means that now is the time to leverage our relationships. Now is the time to learn from each other. Now is the time to communicate clearly and concisely.

 

That is why I urge you to take advantage of all that our association has to offer. Connect with your peers, your mentors, your partners, and your customers. Learn from the experts, the innovators, the leaders, and the visionaries. Communicate your value proposition, your goals, your challenges, and your solutions.

 

Our association is here to help you succeed. We provide you with the resources, the tools, the information, and the advocacy you need to thrive in this dynamic industry. We also provide you with a voice, a platform, and a community that supports you and amplifies your impact.

 

But we cannot do it alone. We need your engagement, your involvement, your contribution, and your leadership. We need you to be active members of our association, not just passive consumers of our services. We need you to be ambassadors of our industry, not just practitioners of our profession.

 

Together, we can shape the future of mortgage lending. Together, we can strive to be better for our customers, our businesses, our communities, and our country. Together, we can achieve more than we ever could alone.
