Letter from the President
For 55 years the Mortgage Bankers Association of the Carolinas, Inc has been providing leadership, legislative advocacy, education and networking opportunities for its membership. As we enter a new decade with new legislation and regulatory changes being implemented and additional changes on the horizon, the relevance of our great organization has never been more paramount.
MBAC continues to play significant roles in providing both legislative and regulatory advocacy through our Legislative Committee. We are fortunate to have well respected lobbyists insuring our membership’s voices are heard on issues that impact our industry as well as those of our clients who depend on us to provide them the dream of homeownership.
MBAC has a commitment to a broad spectrum of educational opportunities which includes continuing education credits for our license members. We also avail our members access to recognized industry leaders as well as the leadership or our national organization. We pride ourselves in keeping our membership current on topics which impact our industry and in providing training that keeps our membership professionally ready to serve our customers.
Our quarterly newsletter…The Bottom Line along with email distributions, MBAC Mini E and our website provide consistent and timely communication of industry issues as well as the news from our state and local markets. Further, we make sure our membership is kept well informed about the local MBA Associations and how they contribute to the industry and to their local markets.
Now more than ever, having the opportunity to network and build personal and professional relationships as well as having access to valuable industry resources will differentiate you and your company. By getting involved in MBAC, you will not only develop lasting friendships, but will contribute back to the industry that has given to you.
